Dermal fillers are FDA-approved HA (Hyaluronic Acid) or CaHA (Calcium Hydroxylapatite) fillers that lasts up to 1 year or longer with just 1 treatment. These injectable gels are used to smooth, lift and plump areas of the face by addressing deep lines around the nose, mouth and other facial muscles; in addition to lifting cheeks and adding definition to the mid and lower face. Dermal fillers are also used to plump lips and/or give them pillows.
NOT ALL FILLERS ARE ALIKE! When researching for the "right" filler for you, keep in mind, there are a number of options out there. The industry has gotten much more specialized when it comes to dermal fillers. For example, Restylane Silk is designed and indicated to smooth lines around the mouth and add a natural looking volume to lips; whereas, Voluma or Perlane is used to lift cheeks and add definition to mid-face. There are many off-labels uses of dermal fillers, therefore it is important to educate yourself, make sure your injector is trained and certified - and you are getting the "right" product for the area being treated.
Some Important Questions:
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS? Results are instant - and natural looking, although you can expect swelling and possible bruising for up to 7 days.
WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE DERMAL FILLERS? Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use dermal fillers - or people with a history of allergies to anaphylaxis or Gram-positive bacterial proteins - and individuals allergic to Lidocaine should not be injected. Additional safety information can be obtained at www.allergan.com/www.galderma.com/www.merz.com
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS? Common side effects include redness, swelling and bruising. The are usually mild to moderate, lasting up to 7 days. As with any skin injection, there is a risk of injection. Patients considering laser treatments, chemical peels or dermal procedures after dermal filler is administered should wait until swelling/bruising has healed to avoid a possible risk of inflammatory reaction at the treatment site.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A $250.00 deposit is required on all dermal-filler patients if they have to be special ordered. Deposits are due upon scheduling appointments and applied toward treatment purchase(s). A 48-hour cancellation is required. If appointment is not rescheduled within 7 days, a $50.00 non-refundable fee is collected. We use the most fresh and highly concentrated products available, and due to the nature of Botox Cosmetic, there is a limited shelf-life.

Restore and produce collagen in your face, cheeks, chin, hands and neck, using your own PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). Blood is drawn from the arm, placed in a centrifuge at a specific speed; then the PRP is removed and injected into a treatment area(s). This new treatment feeds the cells, while promoting new collagen growth. The Vampire Facelift can be done in conjunction with dermal filler for optimal results. Downtime is minimal, and results can be seen immediately. This medical treatment is the newest in non-invasive aesthetic medicine, and is performed by a licensed and trained medical professional. Treatments can also be done in a series.
Unlike most procedures, the Vampire Facelift® offers a way of both restoring shape, and improving tone and texture, as well as literally rejuvenating new and younger tissue!

Refyne & Defyne
FACIAL INJECTIONS & VAMPIRE FACIAL
Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Dysport are protein-based prescription drugs that are injected into facial muscles to temporarily treat moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet.
HOW DO THEY WORK? Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Dysport work by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles, by reducing muscle activity that cause frown lines, crow's feet and wrinkles. As we age, our skin loses elasticity, so using "toxins" (Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) can help aid in the worsening of lines and wrinkles. These products are not a cure - and do not eliminate the aging process, but do prevent muscle fibers from contracting and lines and wrinkles worsening.
HOW MUCH WILL I NEED? During the time of consult, a certified nurse injector or physician will provide face-mapping and suggested dosage for optimal results. Dosage varies based on severity of lines, wrinkles and the number and size of areas treated. Dosing for Dysport/Botox/Xeomin are based on a recommended dosage per treatment area(s).
WHAT IS A TREATMENT AREA? Treatment areas are considered specific areas of the face such as the forehead, crow's feet, eyebrows and Glabella.
WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER THIS TREATMENT? The aging process, and years of squinting, smiling, and frowning can causes skin to furrow and crease. As time passes, skin becomes less elastic and lines worsen. Toxins provide a noticeable difference, with noticeable results, helping to smooth lines and wrinkles. The sooner the treatment is started, the less that is needed as you age. For best results, it is recommended that areas are treated two to four times a year.
WHO SHOULD NOT BE TREATED? Botox/Dysport/Xeomin are not recommended for those who have a skin infection - and should NOT be used on anyone allergic to any of the ingredients in these neuro-toxins. It is also not recommended for those nursing or pregnant.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? Results vary, and typically peak at two to three weeks. Most people start to see a difference within 3 - 5 days. Results have been known to last up to 4 months.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF NEURO-TOXINS? There are possible side effects. The most common side of effect is redness and slight bruising.
